"We significantly reduce the risks of errors or loss of information"

What challenges have you had to face?
One of the main challenges was joining a very young company where everything needed to be structured on the legal front.
I had to build solid foundations whilst adapting to rapid growth, with new issues appearing constantly.
I also had to gain credibility over time, moving from a junior lawyer role to management positions, which involves more responsibility, decision-making and people management.
Finally, balancing speed of execution with legal security has always been a delicate equilibrium, especially in a startup environment.
How has Alex Legal provided you with a solution?
Digitising the share transfer registers has secured and made reliable all operations relating to equity.
We significantly reduce the risks of errors or loss of information, which can be critical with paper registers or manual tracking.
It also delivers significant time savings: updates are quicker, information is accessible in real time, and operations (transfers, capital increases, etc.) are much smoother to manage.
Finally, it's a real lever in terms of compliance and governance.
We have a clear history that's traceable and easily auditable, which is essential particularly during fundraising rounds or audits.
How did the migration go?
Very well thanks to the support of the Alex Legal team.
What would you recommend to someone starting out as a lawyer?
Be curious, pragmatic and solutions-focused.
Understand the business, be prepared to take on responsibility early, and build structure progressively to support growth without slowing down operations.
Anything else?
Have a commercial outlook, be comfortable with uncertainty and know how to prioritise effectively.
